Background.

Dr. Hall is a licensed clinical psychologist  with a private practice in Princeton, NJ. The author of Reclaiming Your Sexual Self: How to Bring Desire Back Into Your Life, she specializes in the treatment of sexual problems and relationship issues.

Dr. Hall earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 1985. She is a member in good standing of many professional organizations, most notably, the American Psychological Association, the International Academy of Sex Research, the Society for Sex Therapy and Research, the Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists, the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children. Dr. Hall is active in the New View Campaign, an educational campaign to alert women to the dangers of medicalizing sex. Dr. Hall has taught courses on Human Sexuality and continues to offer case consultation and supervision to students, licensed practitioners and medical professionals.

A knowledgeable and engaging speaker, Dr. Hall has addressed lay and professional groups on many sexuality related topics. Her most recent workshop offering is Reclaiming Sex which draws upon the ideas put forth her in her book, Reclaiming Your Sexual Self.

Dr. Hall has testified as an expert witness in Court on various issues related to sexual abuse, assault, child abuse and domestic violence. She serves on the Special Classification Review Board, appointed by the Governor to oversee the clinical progress of convicted sex offenders in the state of New Jersey. Dr. Hall frequently consults to lawyers and the Court on sexuality related matters.
